I had the original Hattie B's in Nashville about 10 years ago and was incredibly impressed. I'm so happy to see that they are down here in Atlanta!!

I got the dark meat combo and it was SO good!! I got it hot... And while it was nicely spiced, I definitely could have gone hotter.

The collards were just perfect and the black eye pea salad was refreshing and a really nice compliment to the heaviness of fried chicken.

Hopefully they keep expanding and making their way up north!!

Went here after filming an event and I was really ready to have some soul food. So me and my niece decided to eat here after looking at the reviews. So unfortunately, our experience was less than what the reviews were giving me. The food overall was so so. The collard greens be aware that it does state that there is pork because they use I’m assuming bacon but they could’ve been a little bit sweeter but overall it was OK. The pimento mac & cheese was also OK. Was it the best no, was it something to eat? Yes. Now for the chicken. I ordered the dark meat, southern fried chicken, and my niece ordered the dark meat, medium chicken.( The medium chicken is just the seasoning that makes things hotter so it’s a dry seasoning) Upon the first try of our chicken nuggets, my niece immediately stated this taste like fish Which I’ve been responded after “I know, right!” We went back to the menu to see if there was any type of seafood in the building. They don’t serve seafood! So if you like fishy chicken, come here. I definitely won’t be back.

But on the plus side, the lemonade and tea was good ?

Coming up the hill, one gets a cool view of a classic restaurant. Neat college town vibe and small groups of people enjoying the evening.

I ordered the pimento spread spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Staff was welcoming and helped explain all the options. Soda, lemonade, sweet and unsweetened tea was available, as well as a decent selection of beer and cocktails.

Large, clean, comfortable fast food style dining area. Outdoor seating also available.

The sandwich was delicious. The fries done right. I liked the addition of the pimento cheese spread. Would definitely order again and might try a more spicy level.

Great experience. Cool area. Great sandwich. Worth a trip.

Our new favorite "fast casual" joint. Great design, great atmosphere. We had the chicken sandwiches - southern, mild and medium - all just fantastic! served with coleslaw on top and pickles on the side. Delicious flavor.

Tried a variety of sides - the red skinned potato salad was to die for. And the pimento mac and cheese is heaven! Saw the reviews on here for peach cobbler - simply divine. SO good! crust was yummy and plump pieces of peach with really creamy vanilla ice cream (scoop is extra but worth it)!

Love the design sensibilities - great music, as someone else pointed out. Sounded like early-90s rap/hip hop/pop, which I can groove to any time of the day. Looking forward to coming back.

Oh, and service was surprising - didn't expect to be served the food, and the gentleman looked happy to be there and to share in the delight of this food and dining experience. Thanks folks! Keep up the great work.

Great lunch experience at Hattie B's! Great service and smiles as soon as we walked in the door. The hot chicken sandwich was really good. I'm not usually a fan of crinkle fries but thought these were pretty good. Will definitely be back to try more! Perfect spot for lunch in Atlanta!

That's a good chicken sandwich!! Served with your choice of side. It's served hot and with good portions. The atmosphere is very clean and good music is played over the intercom system; at a good volume. I will definitely be returning again soon.
